Dirbull.com - the best value backlink on the internet?

I recently came across dirbull.com, a paid directory site with a difference: it has a seriously respectable page ranking of 8. The cost to you, the advertiser? $67 for three deep links, or $177 for five. Now, I don't see much point in going for five deep links (though I am hardly an expert in SEO so feel free to correct me). But $67 for a constant link on a directory with a page ranking of 8 is incredible value, surely. I have no idea how this directory site has achieved this ranking - which at the time of writing is one rank higher than Yell.com - but they've done it somehow, and if you want really strong backlinks to your site, I can't think of a better investment than this. After all, the well-known directories charge you hundreds of pounds every year, plus you get the hassle of sales calls each time your renewal comes round. I think a lot of the cheap online directories are pretty worthless because they usually have a PR of 1, 2, maybe 3 if you're lucky. And there are some out there that charge a bit more for an entry and have a PR of up to 6. But 8?! Again, how on Earth did they do it? Perhaps it's some kind of blip by Google, and perhaps the ranking will come down sometime soon. But even so, I still think it's worth a punt. I'll let all you fellow site owners make up your own minds - but at least now you're aware of it!
